Hello!
Am I able to plug an extension cable into a spur? Will this cause a fire risk or blow a fuse?

You can connect a flexible cable to a spur.
Most will have a flex outlet either in the base or front of the plate.
However a spur is designed for fixed wiring not extension leads.
