Yes, bottom left, Paul fury, (alias, dog) and next to Dog is Mark
Coates. Both great players, who would have made it if we had the
Set up then, that we have now.

Roy Bentley loved Paul Fury, but when Harry Gregg walked into the Vetch he got rid of Paul and alot of talented youngsters at the end of the 1972/73 season.

Played with Marc “Twinkle” Coates and Don and against Paul at schoolboy level. Marc was an unbelievable talent - amazed he never went pro. I played with and against Robbie and thought Marc was the greater talent.
Paul - great player who took no prisoners...

Martin Pass was another one from that era who should have gone on to greater things.

There's a name from the past, Martin Pass, was the same year in school as him, very talented footballer, if only he'd had a bit of pace

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
Poll: Happy to see Martin go

Ironically named - he never passed the fûcking thing! He was like Messi on the ball , but yeah not the quickest.

Came down from Sheffield ( I think) when he was about 14.
