Potter has said in press conferences that Roberts loves Swansea and wants to carry on playing his football here. All he's said in that interview is that hes got a 'representative' or agent who handles it for him, whilst he wants to carry on concentrating on his football for club and country. F*cking hell.

Not the most encouraging of articles, but I really don’t see anything other than a contract extension happening here. Unless the club are offering piss take money, which I highly doubt seeing as they’ve just extended 3 contracts and Rodon probably isn’t that far behind Roberts in terms of what he could command, then the only sensible career move is to stay here. He’s only just broken through and he’s pretty much guaranteed first team football at his local club. May be a bit of posturing while his agent tries to get the best deal, but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t sign. | | | |
