Why do some only look for the negatives in stories ?
The guy himself said (in so many words) he was tired and not yet fit, nothing to suggest injury.

I assume they thought he needed some game time, although the travelling can’t be good. I’d have kept him here to comtinue to work on his recovery and fitness. Maybe have a friendly or U23 game involving him and Bony, and anyone else trying to get back to full fitness. Would have been better for him and us. |  | | |

To be fair I think most clubs would have kept their player with his injury record, as well as just coming back from a recurring injury at home, but we're not most clubs. |  |
