Ex swans players tonight. 21:41 - Nov 26 with 3100 views | Loyal | JJS, Fede,Ki, Cork. A symptom of our superb success in the premier league for many years and a sad indictment of a lack of loyalty. Still, I enjoyed it.

Ex swans players tonight. on 08:07 - Nov 27 with 2891 views | jackal | JJS . Shocking attitude. Fede. Offloaded by the Yanks to save money. Ki. Afraid to tackle. Should and could have been so much better for us. Cork. Sold for £10 million so we could buy Clucas for £16 million. I really don't know what that says, to be honest, but something's not right. Ki at his imperious best last night, an absolute joy to watch him control that midfield. I'm guessing Benitez knows what he's doing.
Ex swans players tonight. on 09:47 - Nov 27 with 2782 views | ploppy | Watched the match without commentary and didn't realise Ki and FF were playing. Noticed Cork though. He was really poor - gave the ball away numerous times. Pretty good game. Newcastle looked good in patches and deserved it, I thought. Burnley were ... well Burnley. Distinctly average.
Ex swans players tonight. on 10:49 - Nov 27 with 2741 views | icecoldjack | I dunno, none of them were totally superb, fede was the most consistent, the rest indifferent . Cork never wanted to leave and was told he was being sold . JJS was never more than a blip, high opinion of himself and couldn't wait to get his next move. Ki, did just enough to milk us, playing well when a contract end was on the horizon or a transfer window was approaching, indifferent from day 1. Fede, consistent and got better the longer he was here, however the last 3 seasons was like the Alamo and most defenders look better when defending all game. Borderline prem players, hence where they are now .

Asking Ki to protect a back 4 is akin to using a chocolate saucepan The late great Cloughie said football is a simple game made hard by idiots; it's hard to disagree with him on that front

Think it was toshack who said " there are premier league players and players who happen to play in the premier league " Sums up that crop nicely IMO. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Toshack hasn't been relevant for about 20 years. The idea that there's some sort of fixed line between players who can play in the PL and those who can't is asinine. If there was we'd have been relegated out of it after one season with the squad we had that first year.

Add him to the ever-increasing list of prolific Championship strikers who were useless in the Prem. See also: Chopra, M. & Bothroyd, J.
