Agreed, they are much better this season than last. The squad contains a lot of young players who have been in the Ospreys age grade system, tonight’s team had a couple of Osprey squad players and they have also recruited players from Neath and Aberavon; they had a big win last weekend. Cardiff are a strong team and pushing towards the top of the league. Merthyr are the team to beat, they seem to have money behind them and a strong squad. [Post edited 30 Nov 2018 21:24]

Cardiff included quite a few Blues Squad players which proved the difference. The whites should have scored two more tries and spurned numerous penalty shots at goal for driving line outs that usually came to nothing. Didn't play intelligently at all, hardly used their wide players | |
