Been watching this on and off this morning.

It's mad what's happening over there.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Yeah there’s a lot of heavy handed policing going on over there. Videos circulating of a group of heavily armoured burly and tooled up police officers tear gassing a wheelchair bound, disabled yellow vest protester in the face from point blank range.

Another protester already captured and in handcuffs thrown to the ground and beaten by several officers. It’s shocking stuff.

There will naturally have to be an increase in generating capacity.Germany tried it using alternative power, but they discovered that the wind didn't blow every day and the sun didn't shine everyday. When demand increased they had to reopen the coal power stations to meet it.
As regarding charging points; if you live in a terraced house or flats then you probably won't have access to roadside parking, so where will those cars be able to get their charges from. This has not been properly thought out.

" they discovered that the wind didn't blow every day and the sun didn't shine everyday."

Tide goes in and out every day though. And we're an island. No brainer for us.

Massively expensive as the Swansea bay one has just proven. There would have to be dozens and dozens to be worthwhile and certainly not economical
