Sad news. A great punk/pop band.

Really sad news. My formative years were spent listening to and slamming in the pit to the Buzzcocks and the rest of the punk bands at that time. Seeing UK Sub's again in January in Wroclaw and with Charlie being 72, you never know when it will come to an end. RIP Pete.

Loved the buzzcocks a beautiful and magnificent creation.
But as for Charlie Harper being 72, I bet he wishes he was 👍

That is sad, the debut album and first 8/9 singles still sound wonderful today, pure Punk Pop perfection. Seen them about a dozen times, first in 78 and the last time was in Blackpool this Summer. Times Up.

Second Time Around Record Shop-Tonypandy, RCT-Open Friday and Saturday. Valley Leaflets-Reliable Leaflet Distribution throughout South Wales.

Absolutely iconic band in the Rhondda. Friday night Treorchy High Street, 'Orgasm Addict' singalong led by my late friend Darryl. Great memories and managed to see them a couple of times. As you say the run of singles were wonderful and still sound great.

It was Buzzcocks (no 'The') although I've always found it difficult to say!

You'd think the BBC would've got it right though.

Takes me back to great days.

An all time classic.
