Don't think there's much excuse today. It's pretty much the same team we had through the tail end of last season, apart from areas that should if anything be improvements.

Just like the first team and it's promoted youngsters from the u23 side the various U18 and benchers from last season are acclimatising. The reserves have pulled off some excellent results this season and in time will flourish just like the u23 side that won a league and two cups over the last 3 years. Positivity mate 👠|  |

Rodon, Dan James, Byers, Ollie and, to a lesser extent, Connor Roberts, were the backbone of the team last season and the season before.
Losing those players and replacing most of them with kids stepping up from the U18s isn't going to reap rewards immediately. It will take time and I think the management team deserve that time.
It would be really nice, and quite a refreshing change, if the fans actually appreciated that this is quite hard for these kids but it's (hopefully) going to make them a lot, lot stronger in the long run.
