Can you imagine if all players no matter who had to spend one season at the end of their career ' giving something back' Already professional footballers will be cringing at the thought. At the start of their final contract they have to nominate a club they want to play for or work at least a league below to give something back. If they are injured then maybe a year in the academy training the youth players and passing on live experience.
If that was the norm in football I think some fans would be more appeased that the extortionate salaries paid reflect something coming back the other way. At the moment most of the greedy fckrs just take.
