Correct,the people who shopped around for fixed rate tariffs will no longer make the savings they did.
All the energy companies have increased their fixed term tariff rates to just below the standard rate so hardly any saving compared to the past.
The companies are laughing and their profits will increase.
If you did not know better you would have thought OFGEM and the government were on the side of the companies and not the consumer, but maybe they are.
