Ours came down on Sunday - the next feasible date after that is 18th Jan which I thought was pushing it a little.

The norm is to have them down by 1st or 2nd January.

Supposed to come down on the 6th.

‘Supposed’ to come down either on eve of Epiphany (6th, so down on night of 5th) or alternatively they can stay up until eve of Candlemas (2nd February so down on night of 1st).

Traditionally people would leave decorations up until Candlemas.

Like most, I take them down when I can be bothered and when I have time.

My other option of 18th Jan would not have been that bad after all.

Indeed, it’s amazing how quickly it starts to look like clutter once the Xmas spirit has gone.

Taking ours down tomorrow.
