Official attendance given was 30,000. Seeing as they said they'd sold 37,000 yesterday and were now opening all the ground I'm a bit confused. Didn't see many empty seats either, especially not 12,000 of them.

Apart from Leeds (100 or so more) we were their biggest home draw earlier this season. Even bigger than Birmingham City ?

In reply to the opening post. Villa season ticket holders did not have to get a physical copy of their free ticket. Every Villa season ticket holder had their normal seat ticket loaded onto their season card. So the ones who did not attend would have been sprinkled all around the big ground. That’s why the upper Trinity had to be opened for the supporters without season tickets.
