Stark Comparison of Grounds 08:45 - Jan 14 with 1995 viewsSTID2017

After going to Preston on Saturday, I stayed over and went on a tour of Anfield before going to Goodison to watch Everton v Bournemouth.
The comparison between the two grounds was startling. Admittedly Liverpool's main stand has just been modernised, but what shocked me most was that 30 years on from the Bradford City Disaster, a club like Everton have been allowed to continue using a stadium largely built of wood.
I know they have plans to build a new stadium but they should have been forced to improve their ground for safety reasons years ago. Reminded me of a very poor ground from our 1970's 4th division days.
Both teams, whilst both will survive, were poor yesterday

He doesn’t. He doesn’t care. Truth hurts.

Believe me he does
