I get the feeling you aren’t easily pleased by managers Dickie? Getting that Hudds team to the Premier League, and then keeping them there was a fantastic achievement.

Indeed it was. He'll be highly sought after has he's proven to be able to take a side up. Just like Neil Warnock is always highly sought after. You don't see many clubs scrambling to appoint managers whose only experience is in a vastly inferior league.

Warnock will earn a fortune as an after dinner speaker at Davos next year. [Post edited 14 Jan 2019 19:34]

No, and we would have sacked 3 by now!!!
Wagner Leaves Hudders on 20:03 - Jan 14 with 1042 views | AnotherJohn | Thought Wagner did all right, given the resources available. Second season syndrome was always going to be a big problem at Huddersfield. If we'd had anything about us we should have finished above them last season though.

Brünnhilde is rather trim!
Wagner Leaves Hudders on 00:22 - Jan 15 with 781 views | Cooperman | I am surprised at his sacking for two reasons. 1) They are almost certainly too far gone by now so if they have sacked him in the hope of staying up then they've left it 6 weeks too late, 2) I thought they might have done a Burnley who stuck with Dyche and allowed him to rebuild using parachute payments to further bolster a squad that was not expensive by Championship standards. The end result of that was promotion back to the Premier League and further slow but sustained progress that got them as far as Europe.
