Football Betting Law on 08:26 - Jan 15 with 698 views | trinityann | I confess to liking a bet on the football on weekends, part of my Saturday/Sunday. Mine is controlled betting, but I know folks who gamble heavy. Your never going to eradicate people's addictive nature, if it's not gambling it will be something else to vice on. At times of austerity, people are more desperate for money so gamble more. So my solution is to bring more prosperity to poor/working class.

People don’t necessarily gamble because of the money, they gamble for the excitement and the dopamine hit they get when they win. If they have money it won’t stop them from gambling in the same way that health warnings don’t stop lots of people smoking. The amount of people who will win big on a slot machine in a pub only to pump every pound back into said machine and promptly lose it again.
