Mepham just went for £15m and he’s a centre half. Granted he’s more established and gone to the Premier League but there’s not often players like Dan come through, he’s got all the potential in the world if he stays fit. | | | |

Fair enough. I'd imagine playing at 10 would pretty much take away his best asset of pace though. He'd need to be accustomed to operating in tight areas etc.

He did alright centrally against Stoke. It doesn't suit his biggest strength as since he's not a born goalscorer making runs in behind centrally has dubious value (like with Routledge).
We have better prospects in the middle. I liked McKay in there. But DJ's never been as limited as the touchline-huggers we've bought over recent years. | | | |
