As a Premier League Swans manager, in my own opinion:
(1) Rodgers
(2) Martinez*
(3) Laudrup
(4) Guidolin (extremely underrated)
(5) Clement
(6) Monk
(7) Carvallho
Geographically, Hull makes a lot of sense for Laudrup. With a private jet he could commute home to Denmark every day. Still don't think that he'd take it.
When you look at that list - and whichever order you put them in - we've had some very competent managers.
CORRECTION: My mistake. Of course Martinez was never our manager in the Premier League.

I remember the day he signed - I was working in the North East for a few days and had colleagues patting me on the back as if I’d saved their job. Back then we were everyone’s second favourite team and there were quite a few Mackem and Geordie folk who started following our results more closely. |  |
