Obviously it was impossible to really tell. One young lad, the son of a couple who looked like they had no idea what was going on, had a Swans to in with Sigurdsson on the back. He was doing a lot of explaining. All I can say is that the older couples, say 50 -65 years old, looked like they were wealthy in that American understated way. Looked very like the families I used to cook for on Fishers Island! | |

Some of these were Stateside Jacks, they are making another visit in April, catching a home and an away game.
A few years ago I met a guy from America who was a dentist in California, we were talking about football and although his knowledge was limited, he wanted a team to support, I obviously steered him in our direction, the next I knew, he, his wife and two boys were season ticket holders, they came over twice a year and saw perhaps 6 games a season, they donated their tickets back to the club for other games to be used for good causes. I think they are still season ticket holders but haven't seen them in a while. | | | |
