If that's a dig at me, I have first hand experience of what contractors are charging for projects and the quality of work you get for that money. If your not satisfied with how that money works its way down to the guy on the tools, i suggest you start voting for parties that support workers rights. I Just come back from a site visit this morning for a new project. |
The quality (and speed) of work tends to be the same across the board regardless of pay differential, it's got to be because with completion comes fine tooth comb independent 'snagging' procedure(s)! Non qualified, low standard impostors and cowboys get sussed straight away.
Of course there are time saving corner cutting and shortcuts on penalty clause sites and that only comes to light months or years away. And? All contractors no matter what employment conditions are guilty of that! |  |

Are workers rights going to be eroded after Brexit? |
Tories just voted for Brady's amendment which, on page 31, includes getting rid of the non-regression clause which seeks to dilute the employment rights that workers have.

So why do you think that a large portion of the UK population felt disenfranchised to the point of feeling the need to hit the reset button on our economy in the form of Brexit?

There's a fairly large assumption there in that people voted for Brexit because of economic factors. |  |
