No point in paying an extra wage, it will be a position not required until the yanks are out and the club has started all over again.
Whats a new DOF going to do? sign players? tell the board to not sell the young stars ?
There is only one thing that we need to be looking at now, and thinking of a DOF is not one of them, it will end up as another excuse for the yanks to bleed us further, pay a buddy 500k on paper but split the cash 80/20 at the other end ?

I think it depends what the club wants from a director of football. If the club is intent on bringing players in who will be able to play the way Potter wans and build upon the current playing philosophy which is seen at the age group level then what about Cameron Toshack? Guidolin?

How about asking Graham Potter if he knows any realistic candidate that shares his football philosophy?
I haven't heard any mention of Potter being involved in future planning in the statements flying around. You'd think he'd be one of the first to be involved in decisions.
