Well. A mainstay in our successful teams of the last few seasons. Played a lot at left back because he's good with both feet, which probably hasn't entirely helped his case to progress. Bit of scrapper - temper looked like it might become an issue for a while - but you keep hearing players need that "edge" to succeed.
To directly compare him to Connor as a full-back he's a worse athlete and team player but probably a better footballer. Carries the ball well, takes a decent set piece, shoots from distance etc. Plenty of room to develop if he can get a run of games in League One. | | | |
