They can’t, but if it’s categorically not true, there is nothing wrong in refuting it If they don’t, there’s likely some merit in it.
For what it’s worth, Laudrup looked like he had lost interest when they (understandably) wouldn’t back him as much as he wanted after his incredible first season. I don’t think sacking him was a wrong move. Giving Garry Monk the job permanently was. I don’t know, but imagine Jenkins was keen on that. | | | |
