Wales v England Rugger 20:33 - Feb 17 with 7806 viewsunion_jack

Well chaps, does anyone give Wales a chance next week against the men in white?

Personally, I see a comfortable win for England. I watched the raise of hands on Scrum V tonight and couldn’t believe how many thought Wales would win.

So, head not heart, Wales or England.

Non rugger fans need not contribute 👍

Wales can win for sure. History shows form means nothing. We've beaten them when they've been red hot favourites coming down to Cardiff.
2013 , 30-3 we beat them when they were supposed to murder us.
1999 33-32 when experts thought we'd get 60 put on us.

1984 , 1988 , 2005, 2008, 2015 world cup.....never given a hope but WON.

ALL ON THE DAY!!!!

As long as we don't kick straight to their wingers we have every chance

You are absolutely right Dicky of course but I don’t see it this time around. Mays must be deprived of ball and watch out for the cross field kicks.

Also, front five must be pumped up to the max!

Don’t forget 1993 Dick. Battered, and I mean battered for about 77 of the 80 mins, but IEUAN....and a 0-0 second half.

That 32-31 was the best though...and Scott Gibbs has Scored.......

As usual since money came into the game, Engo should win, but it could be a fair bit closer than the ridiculous brayers in the English media think. North Williams and Adams will need a big game under the high ball. I would play Biggar for this one. He’s the best at taking high balls in midfield. Midfield will have to cover those chip kicks too. But as always it’ll be down to the pack. Wales line out needs to perform or we will be humped to death.

Need to find a way to target Farrell and limit the amount of ball he gets otherwise he will run the show like hes been doing lately. Easier said than done mind

I fear England will take it this time. Their club sides are very well resourced and cast their net for talent far and wide, this coupled with a 3 year residency rule means that they are able to pick up quite a few talented players to consolidate their squad. Heart Wales, head England.

I fancy wales in Cardiff. I believe bookies will give wales + 4 at home. But I think won’t need the head start. England have beaten Ireland which is great result but France Are poor away. Wales 24-19.

Not bad guess lads. Wales +4. Remember this was before the bookies put their handicaps up. Now follow my tip and get on wales. I just can’t see them losing. England won’t get the freedom they have had in the first 2 game.

If we lose I’d console myself with the fact that the England hype will go into overdrive and it’ll be even sweeter when we shatter their World Cup dreams.

I'll be there supporting our national team in our national sport.

As if often the case, a good England team is not quite as good as the media would have you believe.

We've got a, tidy side, so it's anybody's game, probably depends on who gets on the right side of the ref, and if Anscombe kicks his goals.

If Falateu was fully fit I'd make us favourites, as it is, England by one score is probably the smart bet.

All about our half backs for me, kick aimlessly and we are toast. Elsewhere I think defensively both sides will bottle each other up.
It won't be a points fest. 18-13 to us.

I'd have started with Biggar rather than Anscombe, but guess Gats has his reasons. No kicks out on the full Gareth!

Id agree with you, but i think Anscombe gets the back line moving quicker than Biggar. Tho the former is much more prone to making errors. Big decision that. Methinks Gatland wants to run them all over the park

I fear you are correct,he was shocking against France.

Biggar is far better and proven it time after timWe were lucky against France the points Anscombe three away before Biggar came on did not cost us,we may not be so lucky next time.

I hope not. I’m visiting family in England this weekend, and I wouldn’t want to have to face gloating English after the match. Glad to say the family are mainly Welsh. 👍
