I can't speak for everyone but I was well happy to see it hit the back of the net. As for everyone watching him now I'd rather our players be so good that everyone wants to watch them rather than poor ones that nobody wants to see. | |

The emotion was brilliant because goals like that are so rare. It was like an interception try in rugby where the winger intercepts a loose pass in defence and motors three quarters of the pitch then under the posts. | | | |

I like the way DJ pushes the ball a long way ahead, rather than keeping it under close control, because he knows he can outpace anybody. He does this consistently, but without banging it out of play. Dyer was often guilty of that.
To me, Dan's goal was reminscent of Pratley's, but he had a keeper to beat at the end of that run. Very good goal. |  | | |
