Stripping out the emotion though, it is appalling how decisions like that are made. Even if there aren’t, you can’t help think there are agendas. Substitute the blue shirt if Cardiff for the red of Liverpool / Man Utd or blue of Man City and there’s no doubt it would have been given.

All those last minute spawny winners have gained them a good six points or they’d be done and dusted by now. A bit galling but to get late winners you have to have a fair bit of spirit, so you have to say fair play. I thought they’d collapse after Christmas, but they are still running around.

I like your honest realistic posts, Burnley have been on a very good run lately, and I think will comfortably survive. If Southampton lose to Arsenal tomorrow then no real harm has been done, apart from the goal difference. Brighton look like they could be sucked in, I thought we'd lose to Watford, though obviously not by that margin!! | |
