Yep, happened to me there a few years back, they added on the service charge and presented the bill, so I told them to take the service charge off before I settled the bill. As said you are not obliged to pay.
Also be careful if you pay by card, the machine usually asks if you want to add on service charge, yes or no, I usually say no, having said that if I've had outstanding service I will give directly to the waiter or waitress. |  | | |
