“Hard of thinking” is this the opposite of soft headed?

It has been repeated on this thread, sounds like its own little bit of hate speech. Which is quite ironic really.

It is like those that arrogantly declare they don’t suffer fools gladly, but are amusingly often so lacking in self awareness, that they fail to consider one of the biggest most arrogant and prejudicial fools may be inhabiting their own skin.

Shame if abuse is the sharpest tool in the box, it detracts from any actual merit in the point you are obviously struggling to make. I always thought intelligent debate was about listening to the other side then countering or (god forbid) conceding to their arguments, as well as powerfully making your own points.

If anything is to be resolved you need to fairly understand the hopes and fears of both sides.

Treading on people, shouting them down, abusing them for whatever reason may make some feel good / smug, but it is seldom a successful long term solution. Neither is signing players the manager has never heard of ;) (just slipped that in to see if Itchy was still paying attention)

Discounting your opponents as fools is a serious mistake. Calling them fools and other abuse only makes your argument look bereft of meritorious substance and potentially makes a fool of you.

Of course he is a racist. He tars all Muslims with the same brush. That is a form of racism.

I've never heard him tar all Muslims with the same brush, I've heard him tar certain Muslims with the same brush, rightly or wrongly. And unfortunately being a Muslim isn't a race, so it isn't racist, it's partially exclusionary but not racist. He certainly gets the dialogue going 👍

Yeah the default position appears to be “If I agree with you you’re a highly intelligent borderline genius, but if I disagree you’re a retarded spazmoid troglodyte.”

You see it on here every day. Especially on the brexit thread.

Ha but love the way you keep them in line even when they don’t realise it

He does so time and time again.

He’s a vile little bigot. A rich one, however, since morons send him money and pretend he’s not racist.

Of course he’s a dick and a petty criminal with a history of fraud and violence. But do you think the BBC documentary team are right to be working with a far left activist group to attempt to fabricate a narrative of sexual assault against Robinson and other right wing activists?

No. I think the fabrication of any evidence used in any documentary is wrong and if the investigation shows that’s what happens, the relevant people should be sacked.

He’s not a petty criminal however, he’s a dangerous extremist who should be treated in the same way as other dangerous extremists who attempt to incite violence and racial hatred.

He should get a position in Corbyn’s shadow cabinet?

I can’t stand Corbyn, but haven’t noticed the shadow cabinet being any more a hotbed of bigotry than the cabinet themselves.

They’re all as bad as each other. Just different targets depending on what they think will appeal to their base.

I just don't like him end of. Just comes across as an absolutely horrid person. One day he may require the specialist intervention of a Muslim surgeon or doctor? It would be nice to see him squirm or eat humble pie on that one.

Thanks for that Lisa was interested as had only heard of him on here. Nasty totally unacceptable racist stuff, albeit that seems 6 or 7 years old and a number of repeats. A good example of how abuse can seriously discredit any actual valid concerns.

We are back as HJ points out to the OP and the acceptability of what is brought up there. Which if accurate seems pretty vile itself. If officials are prepared to openly lie on what is effectively state TV, then, especially in such a role of responsibility, it brings the organisation into disrepute and totally blows away any credibility.

Further if they are willing to fabricate sexual assault that is dreadful, and shameful disservice to the credibility of many women and men who have actually suffered such assault and been brave enough to report it.

There are loads of examples, recent and not so recent. The bloke has been a racist scumbag for as long as he’s been in the public eye. That’s why he’s in the public eye. He doesn’t have valid concerns. If he did, he’d complain about all child abuse not only that done by ‘brown people’ - he’s had colleagues convicted of sexual assault and worse. He’s said precisely nothing about abuse in the Catholic Church.

I can’t believe you’ve only heard of him on here. He’s constantly on the news - it’s impossible to miss him and his sorry bunch of moronic followers. Often to be found bleating about his ‘freedom of speech’ from a platform at one of his public rallies. The irony is lost on him and the thickos that follow him it seems.

Because a lot of the researchers, producers etc... went to Uni with the H n H crowd, drank together at the same Students’ Union bars, went on the same demos, shared bongs together in tents at Glastonbury, caught crabs from the same frightful, hayrick-haired leftie harridan?

Just a thought...

”...him and his sorry bunch of moronic followers.”

And yet, Lisa, when terrorists ran amok in Borough Market it was one of Robinson’s crowd who stepped forward; when I say stepped forward I mean stepped straight from the pages of Macauley’s Horatius to confront them alone and bare-handed as the women of both sexes that comprise the dinner party set, who would no doubt describe him in terms similar to those you employed, ran screaming in the opposite direction.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

I cannot believe you are sticking up for him Loh. Thought you were better than that.

Didn't see any of his followers helping people after the Manchester bombing. Muslim taxi drivers gave their services for free that night taking people to the hospital and their homes. Yaxley-Lennon doesn't like to talk about that though,
