I had a WOLF-Garten petrol mower for years. Wonderful thing. Had it serviced and blade sharpened once, but it was about £70 back in about 2000, so thought bugger that and ran it for at least 15 years without touching it. I just chucked any old oil in we had lying around if it needed it. Ran it on unleaded even though it should have been leaded. Absolutely bomb-proof. Gave it away when we got a smaller garden.

Strangely though (or maybe not) I find the lawn mowing very therapeutic. I enter a world of my own and just get on with it. That’s one of the reasons I’ve never bought a ride-on😄. | |
