I think you mean that we were excellent in the first half, and didn't give them anything, they came out better in the second half, we still gave them a game in the second half. Yes we lost (just).

We played very well first half with 5 shots on target .....can’t remember the last time we had that many in one half let alone against the Club now top of the League and 7 points clear of 3rd place.
I think the job Potter has done here is nothing short of remarkable given the upheaval and squad turnover last Summer yet we can still put out a team capable of pushing the league leaders all the way.
As you say Dicky as long as the boys are seen to be giving their all we can’t ask for any more than that.

Thought the kids did well. Movement was a bit sluggish sometimes but we played with energy and confidence. I think we missed Fer...on his day...to get the ball and drive forward. Other than that we lost to a well taken goal and feel hard done by that we never took a point. | | | |
