The Rugger. 18:54 - Mar 18 with 2644 views | lifelong | I realise the Welsh team have done well by winning the grand slam, but the fuss they are making about it on BBC Wales....

Why not celebrate it? There seems to be not much else these days for a whole nation to be proud of? It's only the anti-rugby brigade who seems to be upset at this spectacle!

Remember the fuss when Wales got knocked out during the semis in Euro 2016? An open top bus and all...and we didn’t even win. TV specials, the lot. Winning the grand slam is a great achievement for our country...live and let live.

Let's celebrate a great Welsh achievement that is in great contrast to the dreadful Welsh rugby years of the 80's and 90's.

It was a very good achievement, yes, and I’m all for celebrating it,but Ireland won it last year and England 2 years prior to that, I just feel that they have gone over the top. The Welsh news this evening dedicated 20 minutes of the bulletin to it, there are much more important things happening at this time. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
The Rugger. on 19:45 - Mar 18 with 2003 views | dickythorpe | I'm in Nottinghamshire this week and it's surreal watching the local sports news. Mansfield Town are live on sky for first time in 16 years!!!!!!! They are playing top of the table Lincoln though in a kind of localish derby.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Never got a mention on Breakfast time sports bulletin, it was all about the Millwall goalkeeper, Man City ladies & Rory McIlroy. Now if it had been England ...

One of life's greatest luxuries is watching football in a hotel, eating food and drinking beer that is all paid for by the company you work for. Not done it in years and I miss it. Though I do not miss the guy trying to sell his "sister" to me for some bedroom fun in the Premier Inn in Altrincham in 1999.

Undoubtedly true. England has 340,000 registered rugby players. Wales has 73,000.

I get what you are saying but look at the disposable income of top flight rugby fans in England. I was in Bath last night and this morning and you can smell the cash of all the hooray Henry' supporters. A few can't believe the 4 regions aren't in with them in an Anglo Welsh league. But they see the lack of money and low attendances and they wouldn't be able to compete in chasing the star names to play for them.
