First up Northants

https://www.glamorgancricket.com/cricket/news/2019/april/trio-set-for-championsh

I think we'll be more competitive this season but no doubt plenty of highs and lows (reminds me off another sporting side I follow)

Excited about Billy Root and the timeless Hogan and Wagg will keep us going.
Hopefully the new signings will add to our team and get us RUNS!!!!

Poll: Should prisoners be able to vote?

Glamorgan won the toss and decided to bat.

A new opening partnership ... Charlie Hemphrey and Nick Selman

Selman had a dreadful time last year, hope he can come good again.

The season preview in The Times last week spoke of how difficult the whole of last season was for batsmen, especially openers, with pitches so green and bowler-friendly. I think it said that only five players in the whole country got 1,000 runs.

I have not kept up to speed with Glamorgan news during the close season; what have we done / who have we released / signed?

Nowhere near good enough to challenge for anything unfortunately. New leadership needed for fresh impetus. Until then, nothing beckons

Lovely stuff. Love that he’s got 66 as his number.😎

Carlson playing well too - almost a run a ball. Looks a peach of a batting track though.

Looking a very tidy side for the 20 over stuff.

Last year in the whole season the total number of centuries scored by glammy batsmen was 6, khawaja got 3 of them! We already have 3 on the first day of the season - labuschagne , Carlson and root! Funny old game! 🤣😂

Great start to the season, but it's p1ss poor that Glamorgan can't be bothered to update their player profiles on their own site.

They're still stuck @ 2018

Looks like the pitch is a bit of a road then.

Only Glamorgan could have lost this match by 10 wickets in 1993
