Chris Davies MP - Whoops on 16:14 - Apr 23 with 1891 views | builthjack | Local talk is that the case cost around £170,000 to get it to court. Also, some YFC's, registered as charities, will put him down for voluntary work, so he won't actually do it. [Post edited 23 Apr 2019 16:15]

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Chris Davies MP - Whoops on 18:44 - Apr 23 with 1807 views | LeonWasGod | Should be sacked. It's not as if he doesn't know this is against the rules, immoral AND a topically unpopular subject. In this appallingly laid out article, they seem to be suggesting the Tories are calling for a by-election. That seems a bit inconsistent with their views on the referendum 'financial irregularities'.

My view is that the behaviour of MP’s like other public sector workers should be beyond approach and MP’s should be disbarred from public office, but that’s not the rules. Both of these MP’s have committed offences of “Dishonesty” and should therefore face their electorate. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

And the mechanism exists for that to happen. Just needs enough of the relevant MP’s constituents to sign the petition.

It is right that the electorate should be involved but it seems inappropriate to have someone who has been convicted for perverting the course of justice voting on affairs that impact the who country whilst the process to decide if they should be deselected is in process. Some sort of suspension seems appropriate to me similar to many other organisations.

To my mind neither the Labour MP in Peterborough and the Conservative MP from Brecon should be allowed to sit in Parliament until any process which could result in their deselection is concluded. Both have committed offences of dishonesty.

Too many on both sides showing up as less than honourable. The selection process for people wanting to be MPs needs changing.

Anybody that wants to be an MP should automatically be excluded from being one.

Chris Davies MP - Whoops on 18:49 - Apr 24 with 1385 views | builthjack | It came out in court that Davies wanted his office manager to do the forgeries. She refused, got sacked, and she is now taking Davies to court for unfair dismissal. Front page of the local rag today, before I get asked for proof.

If he is reselected by his constituency party he could actually be standing as the Conservative Party Candidate at the by election. You would think there will be a concerted effort by the other parties to secure the requisite number of signatures to trigger a vote.
