Absolutely tragic, really sad to think what was going through that poor guys mind that he chose death before life, can never understand it.
I recall a stay I had in hospital many years ago, a man in the next but one bed to me received the awful news that his cancer operation was unsuccessful and that he only had a short time left to put his affairs in order, as you'd imagine he was absolutely distraught when he was discharged.
The next person in that bed was a young man that had attempted suicide, one wanted life and got death, and one wanted death and got life.
So very, very sad. |  |

Who knows, but what I do know is that the NHS is in an awful mess, I know this from very recent and ongoing experience.
Whilst underfunding is obviously a massive problem, there is also gross mismanagement within the the NHS. | |
