I donā€™t know, Dicky, demolishing the grandstand just seemed to tear the soul out of the old girl for me.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Arthur Emyrs old haunt, the cricketers. He sunk a few in there.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Heā€™d have sunk a lot more if he hadnā€™t dropped them...

That deep dip in front of the old cricket scoreboard must have been a scary sight for a

fielder chasing a boundary shot towards the Guildhall clock .

I saw Maynards debut on that ground. Pretty impressive.

Walked all the way down those steps when I was playing schoolboy cricket. 0 not out as non facing batsman, didn't bowl and dropped a dolly. Not my finest hour.

It was a health and safety nightmare in the end. The repairs every off season were costing a fortune. Plus the amount of wood was a fire hazard.
The loose floorboards saw many an old boy come a cropper.
I can still hear the studs of subs who used to be up in the stands clanging down the cast iron stairs.

Groundmen obviously took down one set of posts then though 'feck it, let's knock off early for a beer'!

I was lucky to be there that day against Yorkshire, and those 3 successive 6's to reach his maiden ton is something I'll never forget.

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! Ć°ÅøĖœÅ½
