If it’s 3m for Potter and his entire entourage that leaves the club in a precarious position. I seem to recall quite a chunk of the “scouting network” was changed and that Potter brought his own man in. If this is the case this, it could leave the club in a situation where we don’t have a manager, are selling off players and don’t have the means of identifying replacements, especially if Potter takes the information re potential targets with him.

Brighton have Dan Ashworth there heading up search for new manager - doesn't he handle player scouting too?

Regardless, Brighton's targets for next season will be very different to yours, for example, a Prem quality striker to replace Murray.
