Put my bag out last night and checked this morning after the recycle truck had been around; no sign of the empty bag.Phoned NPT council who basically said tough it's your responsibility to replace, but there's a charge .So, anytime i put my bag out and it get's nicked i'm expected to stump up a tenner.Householders will just take others bags instead of paying, it will be a free for all.An absolute disgrace NPT council |  | | |  |

Waste collection is getting ridiculous now. We are being dictated to.
How would the councils like it if we dictated to them what we wanted to be seen done with the tax we pay them?
Plus have you seen the poor lifting techniques employed by the bin men of today?
They will pick up 4 bags at once instead of 2 at a time.
When they realise 4 bags especially black bags are too heavy, god forbid they put them down, they still try to hurl them. Many split and spill contents over the road and pavements. They no longer clean up.
The food bins are strewn all over the place as well.
I've had chats with them down here and they have listened.
One operative takes his time when I appear on my doorstep and hates the "wink" and if I'm in a good mood " clap" I give him. |  | | |
