I was behind that goal on one of my rare trips into the south stand. I couldn’t believe it. But other than that Shefki was great - his presence on the pitch was immense, especially at set pieces. We’d had nothing like that for a while.

Not exactly a graceful presence up front but did a job.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
Yes - do you remember the stony silence after the miss - all of us desperately looking to the ref or lino for an excuse to give him?! In fairness he later scored (then was subbed I think?) with a diving header about 3" from the grass instead of using his foot.
They could have planted a few spuds in the trough his trwyn left!
