He wasn't even in the betting this morning so for him to go straight to 2nd favourite a big lump must of been put on. With Toshack I feel he would of been announced by now if it were to be him, I feel he's going to be our back up if we can't get our initial targets.

I think we should go for someone like this but doubt we have the pulling power. No managerial experience but seems keen to cut his teeth. You never know I guess. Would love to see it happen.

I just can’t see a big name, who will presumably not need the job and possibly come with an ego, putting up with the squad being weakened every transfer window.

Quality player with lots of experience, but I disagree with you on this. I don’t think that a manger with no experience is the answer, I think we need someone who has experience, has contacts and has shown they can work with younger players.
Gabriel Batistuta on 18:38 - May 25 with 2665 views | dobjack2 | From what I read Gibson wouldn’t consider him. No managerial experience so probably contacting any clubs with vacancies. Presumably someone has heard he has contacted the club and put a tenner on him.

I'm here to correct you. He's from Santa Fe, the North end of Argentina, a long way from Patagonia.

Thanks Groo. Only the one Santa Fe in Argentina then? Which still beggars the question, who was the last Welsh speaker to score at Wembley? I know it was a Patagonian playing for Argentina v England.

Batistuta was the answer to that question but I’m not sure if it’s actually true or not. Gabriel Heinze also spoke welsh ... apparently.

Never mind you will get over it. Nice to see you back on form Rayns. I was getting worried about agreeing with you and your posts actually containing substance ;-)
