Cricket world cup 10:58 - May 26 with 35556 views | sainthelens | For the cricket followers on here, who's your fancy? I've had good wedge on India. England will find a way to fck it up, and as long as the Indians arnt too knackered after the IPL I think they'll be to strong.

Quite right too. Hopefully it’ll shake them up a bit. Results over the last few years are irrelevant now. This is what the current ODI set up will be remember for. Whether that turns out to be for better or worse. Time to fulfil the expectations.

I think India had their wake up call last time out Dicky. Believe me, this side is unbeatable.

England have to have faith and will have faith. They turned India over last summer and whilst India may be better than they were a year ago then so are England. Mental state is now critical for England.

Totally agree. But I said early on in the thread that the pressure of being the "home favourites " that they'll find a way to fck this up. Even tho India have lost their opening bat, they have all angles covered. I've never been more confident of winning a punt as this. [Post edited 26 Jun 2019 9:29]

A more workmanlike team are India. I didn't like the way Stokes dropped his bat yesterday, I appreciate he's a good player but there's an element there in his character I don't like. Australia for me Saint. They just get on with it.

Not quite as important as your big guns being able to build an innings though. Too many flat track bullies - great when it comes off but you can’t always do it against a world class bowling attack. Bowl like we did yesterday and India and NZ will crucify us. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Australia for me too, Dicky. I can see AUS and IND will avoiding each other in the semi's but then meeting in the final where Aussie mind games will tuck India up a treat. I still want an England triumph though.

Id ask the question after the top 4 of the Aussie order, are their lower order strong enough? I'd concede that their bowling attack is taking shape, but as for all round strength..??

They aren't overhyped like England are Saint, and don't believe the hype. Warner and Smith are better people now so not much external stuff matters to them. It's all on the day. I get the feeling that some England players know when the camera is on them.
