Cricket world cup 10:58 - May 26 with 35533 viewssainthelens

For the cricket followers on here, who's your fancy?
I've had good wedge on India. England will find a way to fck it up, and as long as the Indians arnt too knackered after the IPL I think they'll be to strong.

First, there was Gary Monk’s toenail.

Now we’ve got Mark Wood’s finger tip.

Crucial wicket.

Wasn't convince there was contact by Wood tbh.

I think there was. His reaction when the ball hit the stumps suggests it nicked him.

Very close though.

There was never any chance of Itay Shechter's foreskin.

Thank goodness.

The point for me though is when the decision is given / not given then the video and other evidence has to be conclusive to overturn.

Tbh, any bowler like that is going to react seeing the ball hit the stumps.

As much of a nick on that as there was on Root's bat earlier in the day - both were deservedly given out

England cruising to what seems like an easy victory thanks to New Zealand wanting them to win, Wood cheating and claiming a wicket just to get a decision and the fact that there's a conspiracy

With a nine game per team league, the top four in the semi finals will be there because they are the best four teams in the tournament.

Any one of them could win this competition, it has become wide open. NZ will go into the semis on the back of three straight defeats, could very well upset the Aussies who are yet to have their below par performance.

Great tournament, well done England, worthy semi finalists and there on the back of two fantastic deserved wins.

Well that was depressing. We’ll still make the semis though. We won’t lose three on the bounce and definitely not four.

Told you.

I'd like to see AFG turn WI over today; I'm all for one of the minnows turning over one of the supposedly big teams. This applies in any sport.

Pakistan v Bangladesh, dead rubber. 2 sub continent sides....ripe for a carve up.

Cricket world cup on 15:55 - Jul 5 with 575 viewsCountyJim

There has to be a better way to separate sides on same points Pakistan today had to win toss to bat score 400 plus and bowl Bangladesh out for around 20 runs if they lost toss and bowled they where out it's a farce

New Zealand you can't blame them when they played England they played to get 180 they didn't mind losing

Big problem looming for England. The way South Africa are going looks like it'll be the Aussies in the semi-final.
India with a potential bye v NZ.

Be a shame for India though as they were apparently so keen to play England in the semis that they deliberately lost last weekend to engineer that scenario.

England will beat either of them anyway. Matters not.

England won’t beat Australia I fear. They’ve got the ‘Indian sign’ on us. Or should that be the Australian sign?😄

The advantage England have is that they’ve basically been playing knockout cricket for the last two games. And they’ve had their dip in form and got past it. Australia haven’t really been stretched apart from the loss to India and India’s only loss has been to England. Anything can happen in a one off game of course but I’m confident England are making the final. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see NZ shock India in the semis either if that’s how it pans out. NZ are due a performance and India are solid but nothing special.

I can't bring myself around to support England.. just by the fact that they're called England. But they've been the best batting side I've seen in this World Cup
