Cricket world cup 10:58 - May 26 with 35554 viewssainthelens

For the cricket followers on here, who's your fancy?
I've had good wedge on India. England will find a way to fck it up, and as long as the Indians arnt too knackered after the IPL I think they'll be to strong.

Not important pal, but let's say I've won more in last 12 month's than you've earned in 12 years.

Nice work. You could probably afford Pikey’s bijou Bonymaen bungalow!

Kohli having a whinge about the format. It can be summed up as “Waah we lost and now we’re out”. Aye that’s how it works see mush.

Fantastic result. Went to bed at around 35/4, but still didn’t expect them to win. Sounds like it was another good game to watch — NZ been in a few of those this world cup.

Another horrific score to add to his World Cup knockout record.

Shout out to Martin Guptill who's had a horrific tournament but atoned for everything with the decisive run-out.

He's not really having a whinge. He's responding to a leading question about the format where a comparison had been drawn between WC and IPL.

Don't just read the headline.

'Asked whether he would like to see the tournament follow the model of the Indian Premier League, in which teams who finish top in the regular season get another chance to reach the final if they lose their first play‑off match, the India captain said: “Maybe. If topping the table means anything. I think these things can come into consideration, looking at the magnitude of this tournament. That is a really valid point. You never know when that is going to be implemented.

“You finish No 1 in the table and then a spell of bad cricket and you are out of the tournament completely. But you have to accept it.”'

Not ideal. We’ve been a good chasing side but the odd doubt must have crept in recently.

And it’s the Aussies...in a semi-final.

Don’t fancy chasing much over 260.

Long way to go. Really rate Carey - he and Smith can stay together late into the innings, 10 overs of Maxwell... and then England face Starc.

Great bit of mockers there Bluey. Now say you rate Smith and he'll be around for ages, see if it works again!

If we can get them all out for less than 210, we've every right to be confident.

Yes, but if they go the full 50 I see them getting 240-250. That will make it interesting and Starc will be fired up you’d imagine.

Need another wicket, preferably Smith if course.

Indeed, the fielding has been superb all innings today.

They need to be confident with the bat now, don’t lose silly wickets and build the score steadily.

I’m always nervous when we bat second🥴
