Cricket world cup 10:58 - May 26 with 35555 viewssainthelens

For the cricket followers on here, who's your fancy?
I've had good wedge on India. England will find a way to fck it up, and as long as the Indians arnt too knackered after the IPL I think they'll be to strong.

Bairstow should be on all 4s in the dressing room for wasting a review on a plumb lbw.

With a Big Kahuna inserted toe end first up to the handle.

Fûcking thick arrogant prick didn’t even consult Roy.

Hope they extract Roys bat handle from Bairstow in time for the final.

Wrong end...

The advantage England have is that they’ve basically been playing knockout cricket for the last two games. And they’ve had their dip in form and got past it. Australia haven’t really been stretched apart from the loss to India and India’s only loss has been to England. Anything can happen in a one off game of course but I’m confident England are making the final. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see NZ shock India in the semis either if that’s how it pans out. NZ are due a performance and India are solid but nothing special.

Can I have the title of PS Cricket Sage officially bestowed upon me now please?

Fair enough.

Is my dish of humble pie ready yet? I’m looking forward to it with relish!

Nah. Not till Sunday. Not counting any chickens. NZ are a decent side and anything can happen on the day. England are red hot favourites though as they rightly have been since the start.

18 overs to spare. The apparently deadly Mitchell Starc went for eight an over.

I haven’t seen any cricket in days due to work. Have already warned the wife to postpone any of her plans for Sunday that involve me as I’m having a self imposed sofa day.

I have to go to a family lunch on Sunday. I booked it for 2pm to mostly coincide with the interval. It will be a very quick lunch.

Any help for the bowlers today through the early conditions or was there simply a gulf in class?

My local does a take out Sunday lunch. Even comes with an extra large plate in an Alan Partridge kind of way.

Conditions haven’t changed much throughout the day. England bowled and fielded superbly.

That is such a massive humping.

It depresses me a bit to think that the last WC match I saw live was 1979 at Headingly when England squeaked past pakistan. Proper bats, balls, pitches and fielding positions in those days and four an over was an excellent score. I went one dayers when it all went bubblegum. Still enjoyed that though. Can't beat Aussie sporting tears.

World Cup Final to be shared between Sky and Channel 4.

Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Outstanding performance.
Fans need to stop singing that ' Cricket's coming home' song though. It's a jinx.
Well done to an excellent England team.

That’s Sky’s next big thing from tomorrow in a summer when cricket World Cup aside they’ve been totally sidelined for top line sport. Still, the netball is bound to net them loads of new subscriptions.

Well thats sundays activities pencilled in. Excellent stuff. And on on council tv too.

Just need them to get over the Lords hoodoo now.

My best mate (apart from my wife, obviously), is big on netball. She loves it: Only five foot three unfortunately, so just prowls around randomly sinking her teeth into people's calves. It's the fastest growing sport in the UK I'm told, and the sharp end of the tournament is on BBC, so Sky couldn't even corner that. And not much netting (don't think I didn't notice...) of new sports subs neither as they have put it on the you tube channel.

I'm scared how much I've come to know about netball
