Cricket world cup 10:58 - May 26 with 35562 viewssainthelens

For the cricket followers on here, who's your fancy?
I've had good wedge on India. England will find a way to fck it up, and as long as the Indians arnt too knackered after the IPL I think they'll be to strong.

Unless Buttler carries his bat in an Errol Flynn type performance I think we're toast!

I don’t think the England team will be thanking the Lords ground staff for preparing such a seamer friendly wicket.

They have a clear advantage on the batting side, but this pitch has really levelled the playing field. What ever happened to home advantage?

Not exactly the spectacle you want from a final either. More one for the purists.

When you can fetch on Stokes as your 6th bowler, you shouldn't have any complaint.

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

Exactly what you want from a final.

A seamers’ wicket? England have no seamers then?

True, but New Zealand haven’t got a single big total in the tournament, the pitch plays to their strength.

No excuses though. England have batted poorly so far. They look nervous and edgy. New Zealand have bowled well.

Lack lustre so far from England's batsmen. Buttler needs to start thinking it

The longer Buttler and Stokes bat together it's England's World Cup.

Too many easy singles at the moment.

Lacklustre? They’ve done exactly what was needed so far.

Great innings from Buttler, poor shot to end it.

Big pressure on Stokes and the tail now!

It’s creeping up now. Time to hit out now or next over. Have to.

So given only Stokes can avoid the inevitable, seems whatever the result a Kiwi wins...

Credit where it’s due. For a country of less than 5 million inhabitants, New Zealand don’t half punch above their weight in world sport.
