Cricket world cup 10:58 - May 26 with 35547 views | sainthelens | For the cricket followers on here, who's your fancy? I've had good wedge on India. England will find a way to fck it up, and as long as the Indians arnt too knackered after the IPL I think they'll be to strong.

Cricket world cup on 19:58 - Jun 3 by union_jack | Maybe it just seemed that way then. I haven’t studied the stats but I always felt with those two that we were in with a fighting chance when 12 or more per over were needed in the last few overs. Brain fart! I meant cynical. I’ll put it down to heat exhaustion having been out mowing lawns all afternoon |
So what’s the “cynical” theory then?

Oh come on😄. Absolutely rubbish against WI but polar opposite today. I’m not saying anything is untoward but those who questioned the Anthony Joshua result on Saturday may have similar thoughts about the WI game. Cricket is rife with match fixing as I’m sure you know.

I’m not saying there was but there’ll be others who may think such things have happened. One it’s Pakistan and two they were abysmal against WI but miraculously turned it around. Some on here even mentioned it after the game on Saturday. Just to reiterate, I’m not saying it has happened, far from it. But there’ll be some who will put a theory forward. Not me though, definitely not me😄

Cricket world cup on 20:20 - Jun 3 with 1164 views | dickythorpe | Australia will have enjoyed seeing England lose. This "favourites" tag was ridiculous. Not too worried about loss, but certain individuals in the England team today hold no fear for opposition sides. Roy will be rattled today. You don't just turn up to win World Cups!!!

Are you saying it’s never happened? Huge differences in performances will always raise eyebrows . Read my other posts for what I truly think.

That’s how Pakistan roll. They’re mercurial and inconsistent, veering from brilliant to bloody awful with alarming regularity.

The favourites tag was/is sensible but I mostly agree. If there was any complacency that will have disappeared after today. Losing will probably do England’s chances for the tournament as a whole a bit of good.

Agreed. I wonder if Roy will be dropped. Would be one hell of a kick in the teeth but sport can be ruthless at times.

India have a mandatory 15 day gap between the end of IPL and their next international fixture but then for a reason unknown to me the IPL was then accelerated after the CWC schedule was fixed.

Ah I had a feeling it’d be something to do with the IPL. Cheers.

Cricket world cup on 19:43 - Jun 3 by union_jack | The more sceptical amongst us may have other theories😉 I think we are missing run getters at the tail end which we used to have such as Anderson and Broad. You always felt they could get you back in the game at the end. Roy had a stinker in the field today. He won’t look back fondly at this game for sure. |
‘Daps said the other day that we (SCFC) are in a good financial position. Your comment re Jimmy Anderson being a run getter at the bottom of the innings is almost as ludicrous.

Anderson batting averages ... ODI ... 7.6 T20I ... 1 Test ... 9.7
| Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎 |

Cricket world cup on 08:36 - Jun 4 with 1018 views | NotLoyal | Bloke gobbing off in London last weekend. Couldn't understand why England have to play in Wales as it's got 'fück all to do with them ' A mate of mine pointed out to him it's actually England and Wales and Mr Mouth promptly lost 20 quid. He was stopped short on the usual sheep rhectoric.

It’s certainly not as strong as the batting department which is world class.

It seems to be about pace so we need Archer firing, he's going to be a great prospect, it seems so far that it's about pace on the bowling front, which we have plenty of, however pitches are conditioned towards batting, therefore as long as England are sharp in the field, with level of talent batting I think they could chase down any total, ironically they didn't yesterday, but as said that was due to the poor fielding display.

Cricket world cup on 18:30 - Jun 5 with 931 views | bluey_the_blue | Balls up of the tournament by the Bangladesh keeper. WIlliamson clearly run out, right? Wrong. Keeper moved his gloves in front the the stumps, knocked bails off in process. Got ball but failed to pull a stump out. The fool didn't even need to have done that, the throw was hitting the stumps.
