Cricket world cup 10:58 - May 26 with 35518 viewssainthelens

For the cricket followers on here, who's your fancy?
I've had good wedge on India. England will find a way to fck it up, and as long as the Indians arnt too knackered after the IPL I think they'll be to strong.

Forgot WI - NZ was on. Those drops of Gayle could be critical. Gayle really gives zero fvcks if he's caught, does he?

WI would be awesome if their batsman just realised that you need to build innings not fap furiously over who got the best highlight shot.

That's purely bizarre.

Only way you could even think of that would be if the person running to other end was the key wicket.

What a match!

Brathwaite loves smacking the Kiwis around, see Stokes, but that was an amazing catch - give the pressure around it.

Yes, excellent knock. If only he had gone for the single there, kept strike and edged the last 5 in singles or whatever. Hindsight and all that. He sniffed a chance and undoubtedly now regrets it.

Brathwaite had to do that at some point, can't rely on Thomas against a decent attack.

The fault was in the top order batsmen. WI style is to look for the glory. Gayle? Doesn't matter crafting an innings, hit the ball long and hard. Get caught? Eh, whatever. There's too much of that in their batting lineup.

Yes, the single off the last ball of the over would have been the target for anyone other than a WIndies player. I think they would certainly have won if Brathwaite had gone for the single. But it's that traditional West Indies flamboyant style that got him so close to achieving an amazing victory. At the end I felt even worse than when we were cheated out of the Cup against Man City.

Ha, know what you mean! Not quite as bad as Man City though.

Fair play to NZ though who were very gracious in victory and consoled Brathwaite (and applauded his century run moments earlier even though at that stage they were heading for defeat). Great sportsmanship tbf.

Good team. Play the game properly too.

I watched much of SA v PAK today. Not very good from SA in either the batting or bowling department whereas as Pakistan on the other hand played a good game and are still an outside bet for the semis. England must now surely be looking both up and down in the league table as they still have to play all three teams above them.

The Bangladesh win today has probably just cranked a little bit more pressure onto England.

Would England take a point via a NR? I guess they would.

Especially with Roy not playing. Vince had had enough chances now to impress.

I think this match is over already.

Poor bowling by ENG. AUS won’t give us the same opportunities.

God, I hate Australia😄!!

They'll only be chasing bout 280 FFS.

Yes, but they’ll be very disappointed with that total given the start they had at the beginning of the innings. Which is when I posted!!

Our bowling has improved but the key now is getting a good start with no early wickets. We’re known for our batting collapses and not coping with pressure when chasing.

Is this the day when England fall apart? They have India up next, when they lose that could be goodnight.

They’ll need to win one of the last three at least. Can’t for the life of me seeing it being this one.
