The problem is what he says there pretty much contradicts his opening gambit.

I agree he seems undecided with no clear picture of what he wants to do and how.

He’d fit right in with the candidates for the Tory leadership going by that criteria.

No shit Sherlock.

The trust became a joke when they campaigned and instructed members to take no legal action against the sell out cants and yanks 1st time around. I wonder why? 😭😭😭😩

And still years later they have done jack sh!t.

You get what you deserve.

So many inaccuracies I am not sure where to begin

So I wont bother

The next trust members will be decided by a small group of mainly white male middle class men too.

I’ve no idea what the membership profile is like but I very much doubt it’s predominantly middle class seeing as we’re in a predominantly non-middle class city.

Anyone who's been to a fans forum would find it unlikely the membership is middle class. They're often quite lively.

Time to close it down.

Look it up. It’s what the Trust had become.

It may have turned a corner though. If seems that the old guard who were preventing any progress have moved on with (some) new enthusiastic people now ready to meet the challenge head on. That challenge surely has to involve legal action but it’s going to open up a gigantic can of worms. Surely it has to happen now.

Only two nominations clearly state their position on legal action, some of them don't even mention the issue?

Yes, very odd that given how important an issue it is.
Is "uniting the wider fan base" codex for being against taking legal action ? Or am I reading into that too deeply.

That is extremely worrying bearing in mind legal action is THE major topic on its memberships minds!

If the Trust has leadership with full intent to bottle it, or have zero appetite for legal action, they should come out and admit so. Pro-legal action members can then come to a choice about renewing.

Please God, don't let it be a toothless happy-clappy lapdog with conveyor belt fed PR. Had enough of that sh1te when John Monks and his merry gang were at the T.U.C. ignoring the concerns of its members.

It’s not a time for arranging raffles and bowling nights whilst snuggling up in front of the fire with the club owners.

It’s showdown time. Fight for what is yours. Or slip away quietly into the sun set and let someone else have a go. I will but I’m not going thru this voting Bollox.

The trust board won’t decide on whether to take legal action. The members will.

Only that the views of the Trust board are key. They can influence others. Remember Uxbridge doing his best last time around to scupper it. ?

Yes , that's why I only voted for 4.

The vote on legal action is the most important thing the Trust will have done since, well, erm, the last one and I cannot understand why some have skirted around the issue in their statements.

I know the 2 Andy's views - thanks to them for making that known.
Stuart, I feel, has done a very good job in difficult circumstances so he got my vote, irrespective of his view on legal action, whatever that may be.
Terry Sinnett, whilst not mentioning his views on legal action, brings a new face to the table and his statement was good.

If the others had stated their views on legal action, I might have voted for them too but they didn't. And, for the current incumbents, being on the Trust Board, they should by now have seen most of the pre-vote info, if not all of it, so they should already know how they will vote. However, they have chosen to take a neutral route by avoiding the issue altogether. That might have gained them some votes but not mine I'm afraid.
