I'm having a go at a million steps this month my best so far is 800k

Obviously work helps being a hospital porter but I'm also walking the dog for hours as well

I had no idea what this involved. But on Saturday we were down in South Pembs; went for a short run for a couple of miles before breakfast, then a 5 mile walk before lunch, and then after lunch we walked to Barafundle Bay (1.5ml each way), pissed around in the beach playing cricket, swimming, etc.

At the end of all that I’d done just 24k steps. But to hit a million you’ll need to average 32k a day for 31 consecutive days.

Fair play, that’s a fantastic effort

Keep on keeping on, an extremely admirable effort especially in this energy/stamina sapping weather.

Yeah, I'm not sure how this is even possible! The sheer hours involved must be incredible. I can just about manage 10k steps most days and it's difficult to actually fit in any more (even if I could do 30k a day, which I doubt).

An outstanding effort CountyJim.

Great effort and obvious health spin off. Do you think you may have shed a couple of pounds as well as opposed to going out for a run every day?

Great effort, careful with the cellulitis not at all good if it spreads.

Well done.
