"Stoke City manager Nathan Jones has told eight players they will not join the first team when they fly to Holland for the club’s pre-season tour this weekend, Sky Sports News has learned.
Among the ostracised group is club-record signing Gianni Imbula, who Stoke paid £18.3m for just two years ago, Bojan, Kevin Wimmer, Geoff Cameron and Mame Biram Diouf.
Moritz Bauer, Julien Ngoy and Erik Pieters complete the list of eight who have been told not to join up with the club."

The list seems to be foreign high-earning non-regulars, some of whom were already out on loans last season. They're potentially right at the FFP limit already and have a massive squad, so need to force some out.
Brought in 6 players the other day, seem to want more, and their local press is already patting them on the back over the quality of their business. Be just awful if they fell flat on their faces again, wouldn't it. |  | | |

Last season a lot of players were left behind because of 'injury' & legitimate injury and Baston had already agreed his loan.
So, leaving Boston and Montero behind could simply be the usual - loan agreed and injured player. |  |
