However the drop in income is so vast there will probably still need to need to be further cuts. Don forget the compensation paid to Clement and co.

Let's not forget that the yanks had the financial clout to take relegation also! The lies and mistakes made are damning.

OK the Ayews have to go, they don't want to be here. But I'm convinced no more of these cuts are needed. Let's not go into all the finances again, but something doesn't add up, we've acted as if parachute payments don't exist since we got relegated.

You don't understand parachute payments if you think that. Without them income would have dropped from £120m to ~£30m overnight, and we'd be in a Bolton situation. First year parachute payment was only 55% of what we would have received in the PL, and we were already running at a loss, owing more for players than we were owed in return. Think people look at Stoke and Newcastle losing £90m in a year trying to go right back up and think parachute payments are covering it. That's out of pocket, and why Mike Ashley's asking price for Newcastle is so high. He wants it back one way or another.

The debtors vs creditors falling due within the year just past is scary reading in last year's accounts. We spent a lot of money we didn't have to hand on bad players that failed to keep us up, and then had to pay for them while in a lower division.

No we weren't running at a loss, with all the player sales over the years we should have been slightly up or even. That income may have dropped from that to that but you aren't counting the income from transfers we took last summer and throughout the season. I'm not looking at anyone else, I'm fully aware our owners lied to us by saying they had the funds to compete and make us competitive.

The big three were Jordan, Andre and Borja. Huw failed last year on getting them off wage bill. Birch looks to have got one of three over the line so far. [Post edited 7 Jul 2019 16:12]
